Promises Made, Promises Kept
When we make a promise, we mean it. Our business depends on our loyalty to our word. Over the past five decades, Gulfstream has earned the distinction of being The World Standard in business aviation. We didn’t do it by breaking promises; we did it by going above—and oftentimes beyond—what we said we would do.
Since the beginning of Gulfstream’s history, we have pioneered many firsts. We said we could fly across the Atlantic nonstop, and our Gulfstream GII became the first business jet to do so; we said we wanted to enhance safety, and we did when the Gulfstream GIV debuted as the first business jet to have an all-glass cockpit; we said we would fly faster than any other business jet, and we did by flying near the speed of sound in the Gulfstream G650, shattering an around-the-world speed record.
From design to production, we don’t settle for standard—we set the standard. Our aircraft continue to lead the industry in range, speed, comfort, safety and reliability. The proof is in performance.
We have a long track record when it comes to delivering on our promises. Both the Gulfstream G150 and the Gulfstream G280 fly farther than we initially projected. With the G280’s increased fuel efficiency and the G150’s lower operating costs, the aircraft are favorites in their class.
And our Gulfstream G650 and Gulfstream G650ER are high-speed performance at its best. Never before has a business jet been able to fly so far so fast. The G650ER is already demonstrating record-breaking flights from Los Angeles to Melbourne, Australia; and Hong Kong to New York.
With facilities around the world, including the largest factory-owned support network of more than 4,000 trained professionals positioned across six continents, Gulfstream fulfills its promises every day. Our customers expect it, and we work to exceed those expectations.
Over time, we have learned that actions speak louder than words. And as history shows, our efforts speak volumes. Gulfstream creates and delivers the world’s finest aviation experience; it’s a promise we make and it’s one we keep. After all, in business, performance is reality.
