Time and Again
Designing, building and supporting the best business aircraft in the industry is the backbone of our company—and has been since the Gulfstream I, the first aircraft designed specifically for business travel, took off from Bethpage, New York, in 1958.
In my 20 years with the company, I have seen the evolution of an extraordinary product line in business aviation. What has remained constant is the steadfast dependability, unparalleled performance and stellar cabin comfort of our aircraft. Nowhere is that better represented than in the Gulfstream G450.
The G450 paved the way for Gulfstream standards and continues to deliver. That is the reason why the G450 endures as the preferred business aircraft in its class. Today there are more than 300 G450s in the skies, and we intend for that number to grow.
Many of the technological advances that we have achieved over the years have their origins in the G450. The G450’s PlaneView avionics improved safety through greater pilot situational awareness and was the stepping stone for the flight deck on the G650 and G650ER. We continue to invest in the G450 by incorporating new technologies and flight deck enhancements, ensuring that each new G450 coming off the assembly line is one of the most innovative business jets flying today.
The G450 paved the way for Gulfstream standards and continues to deliver. That is the reason why the G450 endures as the preferred business aircraft in its class.
We also took the accomplishments of the G650 and G650ER cabin and have integrated them into the G450 to create a comfortable and productive cabin with a nearly seamless passenger experience among the different models. Operators have an abundance of cabin layout and outfitting options when customizing their interior.
The powerhouse G450 epitomizes Gulfstream’s manufacturing culture. In our quest for continuous improvement, our experience building the G450 has led to fully optimized production and completion, resulting in increased quality and reliability year over year. While we have honed the manufacturing, we have not lost sight of the aircraft’s limitless potential.
The G450’s renowned flexibility is also manifest in mission planning. Thanks to the aircraft’s best-in-class payload capability, the G450 can carry up to 19 passengers without offloading fuel. This unmatched utility opens the door to worldwide travel options without sacrifices. In fact, the G450 has more payload than you will probably ever need, so don’t hesitate to bring along a few extra suitcases if you’d like.
As I look back at the accomplishments of last year, with the first delivery of the G650ER and the spectacular rollout of our all-new G500 and G600, I am proud of Gulfstream’s continued commitment to creating and delivering the world’s finest aviation experience. These new aircraft would not have been possible without our stalwart G450, which continues to provide an incredibly flexible and dependable business aviation experience.
